My name is Dr. Deborah (Debbie) Ferguson-Cain and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), licensed in the State of Texas since 2007. I earned my Doctorate in Counseling at Texas A & M-Commerce and my Masters in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.
I have worked in various counseling and clinical settings including a church counseling center, private practice, hospital and as a family therapist at a non-profit agency in Fort Worth, Texas. I am also a counseling consultant with the military, helping families working through issues of deployment and separation.
I am trained in Brief Strategic Family Therapy and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a life long learner and believe this is necessary to help individuals navigate through the challenges of this every changing world. Other trainings and/or certifications include Marriage and Family Models, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Cultural Diversity.
